A vintage box theatre stages the Shrimp Coconut Pani Puri as the hero of a short story. When the curtain rises, the dish moves to centre stage and the set is strung into place, turning one bite into a theatrical event.
THE DISH
Shrimp Coconut Pani Puri: panipuri, shrimp, coconut, kaffir lime, garlic, cilantro, and red chili in a crisp, refreshing one-bite.
PEOPLE
Sophie Piczenik is a Thai-English visual artist and founder of the womenswear brand OLYANG-OLYANG. Nicults is a Thai artist and designer working across material exploration and storytelling.
Thai Pavilion is a modern Thai restaurant in Midtown Manhattan led by Chef Varaporn Joonangrong.
