THE PROJECT
Charoenkrung Road in Bangkok is treated as a plate holding layers of culture, memory, and everyday life. Through synesthesia, food is translated beyond taste into colour, shape, sound, and movement. An AR layer lets virtual street artworks travel from Bangkok to New York, turning the menu into a space where one place can evoke another.
THE DISH
A special prefix menu built around Thai-Chinese comfort dishes, including steamed chive dumplings, beef braised in aromatic herbs, and Hainanese-style chicken rice.
PEOPLE
HHTTS is a New York-based Asian indie band exploring alternative rock through layered guitars and the Chinese pipa. Krishamon Busayarat is a contemporary artist working across 3D technology, AR, and sound-based visualization.
CharoenKrung is a Thai restaurant in Midtown East reflecting the multicultural street-food spirit of Bangkok's Charoenkrung Road.
